Storms Turn into Showers of Joy

Stormy weather might not seem like the ideal backdrop for a photo session, and in many cases, that's true. When we planned this shoot, fall was just beginning to settle in—vibrant colors were emerging, the air was crisp, and the days were beautifully gloomy. As the weather grew more ominous, I reached out to my friend Maggie to see if she and Thomas were still up for a session on a cool, rainy day. My clients' comfort is always a priority, so I wanted to ensure they were comfortable or if they'd prefer to reschedule for a warmer, drier day.

To my surprise, Maggie and Thomas were all in! We met in Bigfork and made our way to the stunning Flathead Lake, where we captured some truly special moments. These two have known each other since college, reconnecting after graduation and rekindling an old flame. During this session, they brought nothing but joy and laughter, embracing the gloomy weather with so much fun and making the experience unforgettable.

Sometimes, it's the unexpected storms that bring the greatest joy.
